GALATIANS 6:2 “Carry one another’s burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” HCSB
I’m thankful for my carrying companions. My sisters in Christ.
I’m often a burden carrier myself – but this has been my season to be carried. They’ve been faithful. Sometimes I forget their load. But as the quietness of my life touches the flicker of a moment, He whispers…
“Your load is light because they are carrying you.”
I’m gently reminded that when my burden feels lighter than it should be – it’s because they’re carrying it for me. And I take my cue to lighten theirs as well.
This is the work of a prayerful sisterhood.
We were meant to live in a beautifully yoked community. Full of one another’s. It saddens me that dependency has abused one of the greatest gifts Jesus has extended to us. This is my deepest scar.
Oh, how I’m thankful for my strong sisters – and grateful for the BURDEN we share.
